A Transformation of Unused Backyard Space Brings Joy to Young Family

AFTER: Walkout Basement features new larger windows and french doors giving better access to the new paver patio with 3 separate entertainment areas. Structural updates to the deck included new beams and posts which allowed for larger spans and better views of the backyard. The deck stairs were also redesigned and built to create a landing and better connection between upper and lower entertainment areas.
BEFORE: Unused space under deck was not functional and lacked access to walkout basement.
BEFORE: Steep stairs from the upper deck felt unsafe for the family’s children.
