Now in it’s 8th year, The Ohio Eggfest is happening on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11a to 4p. Foodies & fans of the Big Green Egg will cook, grill, bbq and smoke meats together to raise funds for The James Cancer Hospital (OSUCCC) & the Buckeye Cruise. Since 2015, over $315,000 has been raised!

Hosted each year by Specialty Gas House, The Ohio EggFest’s purpose beyond fundraising is gathering families and foodies to celebrate “the greatest charcoal-based invention in culinary history” –The Big Green Egg. It’s a celebration and cooking, grilling, barbecue competition where all the food is cooked on The Big Green Egg grill. Cook teams from all over Ohio (and the country!) compete for awards and festival attendees enjoy a smorgasbord of samples.
There will also be live music, cooking demonstrations, giveaways, silent auctions and fun activities for families. Eggfest is also an opportunity to purchase a once-used (day of the event) Big Green Egg at a discount. These Big Green Eggs come with the nest and “ConvEGGtor” (plate setter), 20lb bag of charcoal, and Kick Ash Basket! Plus, 100% of the proceeds benefit cancer prevention, treatment & research.
